Doctor Ann Roex – Practice du Chant d’Oiseaux
I have been working as a GP in Anderlecht since June 1998. I really enjoy doing this job. I find it fascinating to meet so many people every day.
I work with my colleagues to provide accessible care and help people as much as possible in dealing with their illnesses or complaints on their own.
Low-threshold care is designed to make it easy for you to consult with us, ask questions, and engage with us. You are welcome to ask us any questions about your health and well-being.
It’s preferable to have as much control over your body as possible and knowing how to deal with medical issues. To be able to do this, it is essential to know how your body functions and to understand why some tests are necessary and how a treatment works. That’s why I like to spend time during the consultation for explaining properly what’s necessary to know.
As general practitioners, we can take your preferences (personality, religion, culture, etc) and your context (family situation, work environment, … ) into account during the medical consultation.
Besides my job as a GP, I am also a lecturer at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. I am teaching, doing research and am involved in different projects.
I live in Anderlecht.
